To ensure that your rabbits enjoy a long and healthy life, they should be provided with only the very best nutrition. The bulk of your rabbits’ diet should consist of good-quality rabbit feeding hay or fresh grass, measured to the equivalent of their body size. Fresh hay should be available at all times for your rabbit to graze. This helps to maintain their general health by wearing down their teeth as they continuously grow, as well as giving them the right amount of fibre required for their digestive health.
Remember that good quality hay and/or grass should make up the majority of your Rabbit’s diet and should be available at all times. Give each of your rabbits at least their body size in hay or feeding grasses every day.
Rabbits should also be fed a small amount of Excel Tasty Nuggets, a small Nature Snack and a small amount of leafy greens each day. They should also have constant access to fresh, clean water. Please talk to your vet for further information.
